The United Church Manor employs a Service Coordinator on a part-time basis. The Service Coordinator is an in-house advocate for the resident community. Her goal is to assist residents, enabling them to remain in their home and maintain their independence for as long as possible. |
|
Residents may receive assistance with daily living activities like meal preparation, housekeeping, personal hygiene, managing finances, or transportation needs through community based service agencies.
Our Service Coordinator helps link residents to supportive services in the community and meets with each resident twice a year to assess benefits they may be eligible for and monitor services in place. Although we do not provide direct services, we encourage residents to maintain their independence by taking advantage of community resources.

The United Church Manor is one of Erie County’s congregate dining sites for seniors. A nutritious, well balanced meal is served Monday – Friday at 12:15 p.m.
Who can qualify? Anyone aged 60 years + or married to someone who is.
How much will the meal cost? A $2.50 donation per meal is requested. However, donations are made in confidentiality and you may donate whatever you can afford.
Do I have to be a resident of the Manor to attend? Not at all. Many of our meal program guests come from the community. It’s a great community atmosphere and everyone feels welcome.
Why should I attend? In addition to a good meal, you will find companionship with people who share similar interests. Many friendships have formed between residents who live at the Manor and those who live in the community.
